We announced last week that a patch was coming to GTA: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition. Since the 1.03 update in early December, the game had not been updated. Patch 1.04 is now available . Back to additions.
The patch adds over 120 fixes , listed on the patch notes posted on Rockstar's site.
GRAND THEFT AUTO III
In GTA III, we are promised improved textures, better managed collisions, etc... But also more precise improvements. In some missions quest bugs are fixed. Chinatown, Callahan Bridge, Belleville Park, and other locations have been visually improved. The K-JAH Radio icon has been redone too. A bug where Claude was not looking over his shoulder when using the rear camera has been fixed.
GRAND THEFT AUTO: VICE CITY
In GTA: Vice City too, Rockstar announces better textures on certain places of the map, in particular the Colon and Deacon hotels. The Moist Palms Hotel has "better windows", while fence collisions have been improved. In some cases, city traffic lights did not turn on, this bug has been fixed. A bug has been fixed where BJ was not appearing correctly during the cutscene following the purchase of Sunshine Autos.
GRAND THEFT AUTO: SAN ANDREAS
In GTA: San Andreas, Rockstar fixed a lot of questing issues first. First person view has been improved in some vehicles. 4K displays have been improved, especially for emergency messages. CJ's reflection in a mirror when aiming at him with a camera or sniper scope was not displaying sometimes, this has been fixed. A cinematic in The Meat Business mission saw CJ and Ken suddenly appear, this has also been fixed. Some haircuts also had display issues, which have also been fixed.
As we told you, more than 120 elements have been corrected or improved . We invite you to consult the Rockstar patch notes to know them all.
