Despite the uncertainties and rumors of a postponement following the death of Queen Elisabeth II, Nintendo has announced a new Nintendo Direct dated September 13 at 6 p.m. UTC.
However, the uncertainties as to Nintendo's respect for English national mourning were justified since Nintendo UK has just announced that it will not be broadcasting this Nintendo Direct in live like all the other antennas of the company "as a sign of respect in this period of national mourning".
Here is the official statement issued by the Nintendo UK twitter account :
As a sign of respect in this time of national mourning, we will not be live streaming tomorrow's Nintendo Direct . It will be released as a video on demand on our YouTube channel at 4.00pm (UK time) tomorrow.
You will therefore have to be patient to discover this Nintendo Direct in English (or watch the Nintendo of America broadcast in the same language) since it will only be broadcast an hour later on the Nintendo UK Youtube channel.
As a mark of respect during this period of national mourning, we will not livestream tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct. It will be published as a video-on-demand on our YouTube channel at 16:00 (UK time) tomorrow.
