Game Freak and The Pokémon Company took advantage of a Pokémon Presents to announce the next game, or rather its next games, with Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet . The latter will offer several important changes for the franchise and this type of game, with the presence of an open world , which was confirmed in the wake of its announcement. As of this writing, we unfortunately don't have any release dates for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. However, as mentioned at the end of the announcement trailer, which gives us some information about this new episode, it will arrive at the end of 2022, on Nintendo Switch, exclusively .
In fact, given the liabilities of the license, it is conceivable that Pokémon Scarlet / Violet will be available at the end of autumn, during the month of November, since most Pokémon games of this caliber were released on Switch during this month (remake of Pearl and Diamond, Sword and Shield or even Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu / Eevee). Of course, we are not immune to a good surprise with an earlier release, although it remains unlikely.
