ALREADY THREE MILLION EUROS FOR EASTERN EUROPE
With the events currently taking place in Ukraine , many video game players are acting on their own scale: on the one hand, those who are withdrawing from the Russian market such as PlayStation, Nintendo or even CD Projekt to reinforce the country's isolation and encourage to the ceasefire. On the other, those who do not hesitate to mobilize economic forces to support and help the populations under attack.
Riot Games is precisely part of this last category. The firm behind League of Legends , Valorant , Legends of Runeterra , Teamfight Tactics , and League of Legends: Wild Rift has announced that all revenue generated from Battle Passes for these games will be donated to local charities. In addition to Battle Passes, money generated through LoL Bee skins will also join the prize pool.
All that to say that currently, and in less than three days, Riot Games has already collected more than three million euros to help Eastern Europe. An impressive score which should swell further until March 13, when this exceptional mobilization will end.
Thank you to players around the world who have raised more than $2m to support relief in Eastern Europe so far! With contributions from Riot, that brings the total to more than $3m to date.

AN ADDITIONAL MILLION EUROS FOR THREE ASSOCIATIONS
To go along with all this, Riot Games also announces that it will donate an additional million euros, divided between the three non-profit humanitarian associations that are International Medical Corps, Médecins Sans Frontières and the Red Cross. Polish.
A particularly laudable gesture from the publisher and which follows in the footsteps of other colleagues: Koch Media (which includes various studios and publishers like Deep Silver, Milestone, Ravenscourt, etc.) has confirmed a donation of 500,000 dollars , while the Pokémon Company International allocates aid of 200,000 dollars , entrusted to GlobalGiving.
We recall that this week, Sony announced the withdrawal of its activities in Russia, not even releasing Gran Turismo 7 on the territory, yet one of the major productions. Nintendo also confirmed the suspension of its business in the country.
