Like the Nintendo 3DS (see here ), the Wii U is getting a new update. This is his first update of the year. Again, we can think that it is related to the definitive closure of the eShop of the console which is looming on the horizon. Officially, the update, which upgrades the Wii U to version 5.5.6 brings " system stability improvements ". But as always, dataminer OatmealDome went a step further, noting that the console settings and menu have also been updated. Pending further details.

A system update was released for the Wii U in North America. This may be related to the upcoming shut down of adding funds in the eShop.
