After years of waiting, the Persona saga is about to make its full-fledged arrival on Nintendo Switch in the coming months with Persona 5 Royal, which will be followed by Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable.
The Atlus role-playing game saga has remained attached to the PlayStation family in recent years with a few spin-offs released on Nintendo consoles. But that will end on October 21 with the release of Persona 5 Royal.
Nintendo has today put the game's eShop page online, which allows us to discover the first technical information on the title that is eagerly awaited by fans of the series. As a reminder, Persona 5 Royal is the enriched version of Persona 5. The game was released in 2019 on PS4.
Thanks to the eShop sheet, we discover that the game on Switch will weigh 12.5 GB. A beautiful baby but which will in fact be 3 times smaller than its PlayStation 4 version! Be careful however, the content of the game will be identical between the two versions and this diet is in fact explained by the work of adaptation to the hybrid console.
Atlus should communicate more technical details over the weeks but it is likely that the change in resolution to adapt to the console's 720p screen is responsible for this. It is also possible that part of the game is to be downloaded separately, such as the dubbing in English or Japanese. See you on October 21 to discover Persona 5 Royal on Nintendo Switch!
