Dune è un videogioco del 1992, basato sull'omonimo romanzo di fantascienza di Frank Herbert. Sviluppato da Cryo Interactive, è il primo dei giochi per computer di Dune. Dune fonde l'avventura con la strategia economica e militare ed è considerato da molti il gioco per computer di Dune più coinvolgente. Seguendo vagamente la storia del romanzo, il gioco mette il giocatore nei panni di Paul Atreides, con l'obiettivo finale di cacciare gli Harkonnen dal pianeta Dune, gestendo al contempo l'estrazione di spezie, l'esercito e, in seguito, l'ecologia attraverso le tribù native dei Fremen.Man mano che il giocatore progredisce, le sue truppe vengono equipaggiate con armi che vanno dai "crysknives" all'atomica, sfruttano i poteri psichici latenti di Paul e fanno la conoscenza di personaggi del libro come Chani e Liet-Kynes.
