The main character, Chloe, lives in a town walled off with wire mesh, like a cage. Her city has been quarantined, and everyone inside, including her, is a zombie. One day, she receives an invitation to attend a prestigious inter-species school for elite students. Together with a werewolf, an invisible boy, a vampire, and a mummy, she begins her new life at the academy. There she finds herself in a forbidden inter-species love…

Frota, mas bela. O mundo das trevas...O protagonista principal, Cloe (nome mutável) viveu numa cidade isolada. Cercada por cercas de arame, parecia que estava presa dentro de uma gaiola.
Os zombies eram os únicos residentes naquela cidade, e ela não era a excepção. Muitos tiraram a sua própria vida em vez de envelhecerem, mas de resto levavam uma vida pacífica. Um dia, porém.......
Como Cloe esperava ver o mundo exterior, ela recebeu um convite. Um convite para frequentar uma escola prestigiosa e diversificada, a que só os mais talentosos e habilidosos poderiam aderir.
