When Brian Hammerhand enters the town of Hagedorn he witnesses a fireball leveling the shop of sandal-maker. After inquiring a passerby, Hammerhand learns that this has become common occurrence as of late. A wizard, Morloc the Mad, has moved in the tower in town terrorizing Hagedorn ever since.
